Sample Itinerary - Cape Town to Cape Town


Day 1 Arrive in Cape Town and check-in at One&Only Cape Town for a 2 night stay. Cradled between impressive sandstone cliffs and at the meeting point of two great oceans, this crescent-shaped waterfront resort offers stunning views of Table Mountain and Signal Hill.

Day 2 Today is free for you to discover Cape Town with its beautiful natural setting, fabulous beaches and Dutch architectural heritage. Explore the galleries and shops, visit the lively V&A waterfront and sample the exquisite dishes of its outstanding restaurants.

Day 3 Embark Silver Wind this evening at 7pm and depart Cape Town for a 10 day cruise.

Day 4 Today is spent at sea with time to relax and enjoy the onboard facilities, including the spa with its invigorating Balinese treatments and the outstanding dining options available.

Day 5 Arrive early morning into East London, South Africa's only large river and sea port. Visit the town's small museum containing the world's only surviving egg of the extinct dodo bird, or explore the bustling commercial centre.

Day 6 Today relax onboard, journeying north towards Mozambique.

Day 7 Arrive in Maputo, the capital of Mozambique at 8am. This pretty city has a distinctly Mediterranean feel with its tree-lined avenues and pavement cafés. Depart port at 6pm.

Day 8 Arrive at Richards Bay, a charming town and a welcoming first stop in South Africa, where you’ll stay overnight. With some of the most magnificent wetland scenery and unspoiled beaches in the country, it is also the gateway to the Nyala Zulu nation.

Day 9 Depart late this evening with the option to spend the day relaxing on board or exploring more of Richards Bay.

Day 10 Arrive into Durban for a morning in South Africa’s third largest city. The modern beachfront hides a centre peppered with colonial buildings and art deco architecture and a peaceful stroll through the beautiful Botanical Gardens is highly recommended. Depart port at 2pm.

Day 11 Arrive at 2pm into Port Elizabeth, situated on one of South Africa’s best stretches of golden sand beach. Take time to explore before departing at 8pm.

Day 12 Arrive this morning in Mossel Bay in the heart of the famous Garden Route. This pretty town has a rich history of maritime voyages and makes a delightful area to discover. Depart port at 2pm.

Day 13 Arrive in Cape Town at 8am and transfer to One&Only Cape Town for your overnight stay.

Day 14 Today is at leisure, with a transfer to the airport for your onward or return flight.
