Sample Itinerary - Mauritius to Cape Town

Day 1 Arrive in Mauritius and check-in to the utterly charming 20° Sud for a 3 night stay. A haven of refined luxury this is the first truly boutique hotel on Mauritius, with only 34 rooms and the most attentive staff. It is a wonderfully peaceful retreat if you’re looking for somewhere to get away from it all.

Day 2 Enjoy free time relaxing in the hotel or perhaps explore Grand Baie’s shops and restaurants nearby.

Day 3 A further day at leisure to explore Mauritius.

Day 4 Embark the Silver Wind and depart Port Louis at 6pm this evening.

Day 5 & 6 Relax and enjoy the facilities onboard, including the spa with its invigorating Balinese treatments and the outstanding dining options available.

Day 7 8am arrival at Tulear, southern Madagascar. Rise early to enjoy views of the vast coastal sand dunes from the comfort of your suite, as you approach the town where savannah, bush and the grassy plains of Madagascar meet.

Day 8 Today is at sea continuing towards mainland Africa.

Day 9 Arrive at Richards Bay in South Africa where you’ll overnight. This charming town is a welcoming first stop in South Africa and has some of the most magnificent wetland scenery and unspoiled beaches in the country. It is also the gateway to the Nyala Zulu nation.

Day 10 Today is spent in port so you can choose to relax onboard or further explore Richards Bay before departing at 11pm.

Day 11 Arrive into Durban, South Africa’s third largest city for a morning of sightseeing. The modern beachfront hides a centre peppered with colonial buildings and art deco architecture and a peaceful stroll through the beautiful Botanical Gardens is highly recommended.

Day 12 The penultimate stop of this journey is Port Elizabeth, situated on one of South Africa’s best stretches of golden sand beach. Take time to explore before departing at 8pm.

Day 13 Spend your last full day at sea onboard.

Day 14 Arrive in Cape Town at 7am and transfer to One&Only Cape Town, a cosmopolitan style resort where chic island design meets fashionable African flair. Cradled between impressive sandstone cliffs and at the meeting point of two great oceans, this crescent-shaped waterfront resort offers stunning views of Table Mountain and Signal Hill.

Day 15 Transfer to the airport for your onward or return flight.
