Out and About
Scuba Diving at the Four Seasons
The Red Sea is renowned as one of the world’s best scuba diving destinations, and the Dive Centre at the Four Seasons Sharm El-Sheikh organises excursions for divers of all abilities. The nearby reefs and wrecks are teeming with life, with the crystal clear waters ensuring that visibility is superb. The resort can also take you out on a moonlit night dive, with the chance to see bioluminescent plankton glowing in the darkness, a beautiful natural phenomenon.

Dinner in the Desert
This classic desert experience begins with a camel ride from Wadi Mandar across the sands to a Bedouin encampment, where you will enjoy a traditional dinner with your hosts. When the sun goes down, the stars come out, and with the help of a telescope and a backdrop of clear, indigo desert sky, you’ll be able to pick out a host of glittering constellations.

Cairo in a Day
Egypt is a country with a rich history which can sometimes seem far away from the beach resort of Sharm El-Sheikh. However, Cairo is only an hour’s flight from Sharm, just close enough to make a day trip possible, and Egypt’s past is nowhere more evident than at Giza on the city’s outskirts, home of the Great Pyramids and the Sphinx. A visit to the Egyptian Museum is also a must, as here many of the treasures of the pharaohs are on display, while you can pick up some treasures of your own in the atmospheric Khan el-Khalili souk, before heading back to Sharm in the evening.

Food and Drink
Sharm El-Sheikh and neighbouring Na’ama Bay play host to a multitude of restaurants and bars, with French and Italian bistros competing amongst Japanese, Thai and many others. Special mention must go to Arabesque at Four Seasons Resort, where impressive Middle Eastern mezze will delight you dish after dish, or explore the lively entertainment complex of Soho Square, where a dizzying array of choices include Spanish, Italian, Thai and Lebanese.
