Day 1 Arrive at Amman airport and transfer to the hotel. Overnight at Grand Hyatt Amman

Day 2 After breakfast you’ll visit Jerash, one of the most well preserved Roman cities in the world. Boasting colonnaded streets, an immense oval forum, hilltop temples, baths and impressive theatres, it really is a sight to see. Continuing to the Dead Sea, one of the most spectacular natural and spiritual landscapes in the world, you have a free afternoon to float in the salty waters of the lowest place on earth. Day 3 This morning proceed to Bethany where Jesus Christ was baptized by John the Baptist. Continue to Madaba and visit St George’s church with its famous mosaic floor, before stopping at Mount Nebo for a breathtaking view across the Promised Land. Arrive into the amazing city of Petra in the early evening for a 2 night stay. Overnight at Mövenpick Resort Petra

Day 4 Spend the day exploring the spectacular ‘rose-red city’ of Petra with your local private guide. Entrance is via the spectacular Siq, a narrow gorge over 1 kilometre in length which opens onto the Treasury, the iconic image of Petra which was used in the filming of “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade”. Carved out of the sheer rock face and an impressive 30m wide and 43m high, the Treasury is an awe-inspiring sight and one of the many you will see today.

Day 5 This morning you have another opportunity to visit Petra and perhaps take in the Monastery or explore the many rock tombs of this vast site. Then depart to Wadi Rum and enjoy a four wheel drive tour through its magical landscape. Made famous by “Lawrence of Arabia”, this undulating and evocative panorama is simply spellbinding. Continue on to Aqaba on the Red Sea for a
2 night stay. Overnight at Kempinski Hotel Aqaba

Day 6 Day at leisure to relax on the gorgeous Red Sea beaches, enjoy world-renowned scuba diving, or explore the old city of Aqaba.

Day 7 Enjoy an early breakfast before transferring to Aqaba airport for your onward or return flight.

Includes breakfast, return scheduled flights, private air-conditioned transportation, an English speaking guide on Day 2 and Day 4, entrance fees to all attractions visited and use of a private lounge at Heathrow.
