Following a $13 million renovation, luxury Antigua resort Curtain Bluff is due to reopen on 28 October 2018.

The landmark resort has been closed for six months, during which time the dining spaces, lounge, bar, reception and entrance have undergone a complete overhaul. Hues of turquoise and melon have been introduced to reflect the colours of the ocean and rooms and suites have also been upgraded with a sleek new look. As well as this, guests will be able to enjoy beautiful new chaise loungers and sand chairs on the beach whilst being luxuriously pampered by the Beach Concierge service.

Architect Andrew Goodenough is behind the resort’s new fresh, contemporary look and his team have taken great care to preserve important features of Curtain Bluff including the tamarind tree the hotel was built around. The hotel’s signature Tamarind Restaurant will offer a completely redefined dining experience and will provide a stunning setting for weddings, private dinners and cocktail parties.

Rob Sherman, Managing Director of Curtain Bluff, commented: “Our renovation underscores our commitment to providing a personal luxury experience that keeps our guests coming back. We are thrilled to unveil the changes though we promise our guests that one element that will never change is the family welcome they feel the moment they step foot on property. The resort may have a new, updated, elegant look but its charm will always remain the same.”

Curtain Bluff enjoys a spectacular location, perched on a dramatic rocky outcrop between both the Atlantic and Caribbean oceans. It was originally a private residence yet has blossomed into one of the most exclusive resorts in Antigua.

Due to Curtain Bluff’s amazing location and first-rate facilities, it’s a favourite with all who visit, but we particularly recommend it to families as the extensive facilities on offer, including water sports, two beaches, a putting green, an excellent children’s club and an indulgent spa, mean families can either enjoy spending time together or doing their own thing.

Curtain Bluff reopens this Saturday 28 October. If you’d like more information about the resort, or to book a holiday, give one of our specialists a call.
