There are so many wonderful holiday experiences to be had in Africa but, of course, a big five African safari is the one that stands out for most visitors to the continent. The key to the perfect luxury safari is in choosing the right time of year to go and selecting a lodge in the right location which offers expert guiding and we are here to help you do this. As well as choosing the right conditions you'll also want to consider whether you'd prefer nights under canvas in classic 'Out of Africa' style  (though with all modern comforts of course), in a private house in the bush (perfect for larger families or groups of friends), high up in a treehouse-style room or in a super-luxurious, glassed-walled den with stunning views over the wilderness below. However, there is much more than 'just' safari to look forward to in Africa. For the moment we are concentrating on South Africa, and the great diversity of holiday experiences it has to offer, from the world-class food and wine of the Western Cape to luxury safaris in the Sabi Sands and Madikwe, not to mention the easy pace of the Garden Route with its whale watching in season. South Africa also combines extremely well with other nearby countries so think about adding on a luxury Indian Ocean beach stay in Mauritius or the Seychelles, a few nights at the majestic Victoria Falls or a rustic-chic retreat in Mozambique. If you have yet to set foot in this incredible part of the world then we urge to do so as soon as possible.
