Offering a fantastic diversity of landscapes, vistas and experiences, Northern Italy is also an ideal destination for any luxury short break or introduction to Italy. From the dramatic and sparkling lakes of Como, Garda and Maggiore with their many grand historic villas, exquisite gardens and stunning scenery to the colourful villages of the Cinque Terre and chic haven of Portofino, this region offers fantastic opportunities for those looking for some coastal and waterside relaxation.  The rustic hillside villages of Lombardy and Piedmont are perfect for exploring, offering beautiful walking prospects and of course for those looking for a healthy dose of retail therapy should look no further than Italy’s fashion capital, Milan.
