Pangkor Laut Resort

If ever an image symbolises the very essence of a Malaysian island holiday then it has to be the resort’s romantic villas built on wooden stilts above the tranquil sea.

Location On Pangkor Laut island off the west coast of Malaysia, a 4 hour private road transfer from Kuala Lumpur airport to Lemut and onward 30 minute boat transfer to Pangkor Laut Island. Alternatively, fly from Singapore to Ipoh, take a 1 hour road transfer to Lemut, then onward by boat to Pangkor Laut Island.

Facilities Indulge in the region’s celebrated cuisine with the resort’s 8 dining and snack venues. The Chinese style home cooking in Uncle Lim’s is inspired and the unique dishes at Fisherman’s Cove are divine, but you can’t go wrong wherever you eat, with western, Malay, Italian and Asian specialities to choose from.

The resort offers watersports, including the more unusual fishing for barracuda, taking a cruise to hidden coves and deserted islands, or enjoying a thrilling catamaran ride. There are also 2 pools (1 for spa guests only), yoga, Tai chi, a gym, tennis and squash.
