An island paradise that boast seven miles of white sand beaches. Desroches is known as the best place for diving in Seychelles; the surroundings area provides a myriad of unforgettable dives. For Dinner I highly recommend Restaurant Le Veloutier, which has a stunning view of the pool and the sea. The cuisine varies between Creole, French and cosmopolitan style.

Location 30 minute flight from Mahé airport.
Facilities Set amidst such a coral wonderland, snorkelling and scuba diving are a must and are available from the PADI diving centre. There are 14 classified dive sites in the area, including the awe-inspiring ‘Desroches Drop’. Other watersports include sailing, windsurfing, canoeing and big game fishing. Marlin and dog-tooth tuna are often caught here. On land there’s a large pool, children’s pool, floodlit tennis court, boules, a health and beauty salon, TV and video lounge. A lovely touch is the way bicycles are provided to all guests to enable you to ride through the forest and on to secluded beaches along the island’s 14 kilometres of beautiful coastline. The main poolside restaurant serves a wonderful fusion of Creole and European dishes, or you can enjoy barbecue grills and cocktails on the beach as the sunset paints yet another masterpiece across the sky.
