I stayed at Fregate on a recent visit to the Seychelles and it really is paradise, with outstanding unspoilt beauty and picture postcard beaches . The villas are huge with beautiful infinity pools, day bed, large verandah for in villa dining – just sublime. I highly recommend some of the outdoor dining options , you can dine in a Banyan Tree 60 feet above the forest canopy and have Afternoon Tea at the highest point on the island, sheer bliss.

ReservationsFregate Island Private
Location The resort is reached by a 20 minute helicopter flight from Mahé airport.
Facilities You will dine on the freshest fruit and vegetables, as the island has its own plantation and Hydroponics House. As well as the wonderful Creole cuisine, the seafood dishes are superb. And you can dine anywhere and anytime on the island. The resort has its own marina with a fleet of sailing and motor yachts. Watersports include scuba diving, snorkelling, windsurfing and deep-sea fishing. There are also 2 pools, a fully equipped gym, tennis and a children’s Castaway Clubhouse. We highly recommend taking a guided nature walk with one of the ecology team early in your stay, so that you know what to look out for when you strike out alone. The Rock Spa sits atop one of the island’s small peaks and provides an extensive range of therapies.
