If the high rise glass tower buildings of Dubai don't appeal then visit this lovely hotel. The huge rooms enjoy wonderful views over the Gulf and it has a fantastic pool and lovely balconies to sit and enjoy the rising and setting sun. It is a smaller and more intimate hotel than many and has a sumptious Italian style.

If ever a name alone could conjure the true essence of luxury and style, then surely it is Ritz-Carlton. This is one of the most elegant hotels in Dubai.

You’ll notice the Moorish influence in its terracotta stone walls and low level design, in contrast to so many of Dubai’s newer hotels. And despite its crystal chandeliers and grand teak columns, there’s also a very intimate feel to the place.

Location Just 30-40 minutes from the airport, in the heart of Dubai Marina, at the start of the newly created Jumeirah Beach walk.

Facilities Dining is quite an event, with 4 superb restaurants to choose from. We know you won’t be able to resist the Bedouin tents’ setting of Amaseena, the innovative fayre of Gulf Pavilion, the authentic Italian cooking in Splendido or the seafood delicacies in La Baie. We can recommend the peace and serenity of the Balinese Spa with its Oriental treatments.

There are also 3 outdoor pools, tennis, squash, a gym and the Ritz Kids’ Club. Golfers will be in seventh heaven, as the hotel is adjacent to 2 championship courses - The Emirates Golf Club and The Montgomerie Dubai.

Each of the 138 rooms at the hotel has been designed with exquisite attention to detail. All have a DVD player, plasma TV, marble bathroom and a private balcony or patio overlooking the gardens and pool. The Deluxe Rooms are comfortable with a balcony and bedroom with combined seating. You may like to consider taking a Club Room or Suite, where you’ll have guaranteed sea views, the service of a personal concierge and private lounge access with food presentations throughout the day. The Executive Suites feature separate lounge areas, or try The Ritz-Carlton Suite with its own lounge and dining area, kitchen and marble bathroom with sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi.

7 nights from £1,364 per person in low season and £2,461 in high season, based on 2 adults sharing a Deluxe Room, including breakfast, return scheduled flights, private transfers and use of a private lounge at Gatwick or Heathrow.
