I loved this property - Just 160 rooms & suites make this hotel an ideal choice for those seeking a smaller property but with all the facilities of a large resort. The Heritage offers great value for money and is suitable for families & couples. I particularly enjoyed the friendly service and the African theme throughout the hotel which create a relaxed and chilled out ambiance.

The Heritage Golf & Spa Resort

Being new may not guarantee excellence, but it certainly has at The Heritage.

Recently opened to great acclaim, we think you’ll love the way this resort has cleverly combined the chic, relaxed ambience of tropical luxury with such extensive leisure facilities dedicated to you just having a great time.

Location Located on the south coast in the village of Bel Ombre, The Heritage is about 20 minutes from the airport and 45 kms from the capital, Port Louis.

Facilities It’s fair to say that when it comes to sports, leisure and entertainment, The Heritage has pretty well got it all. The excellent Spa and golf facilities lead the way, but there is virtually every watersport, four pools, tennis, archery, mountain biking and much more besides.

A good appetite is almost obligatory, as the resort boasts two 2 Michelin Star chefs who supervise ‘La Compagnie des Comptoirs’ fusion cuisine restaurant. There are two bars and three other restaurants. We particularly recommend you sample the delicious newly opened spa restaurant and Infinity Blue, the beach restaurant.

Accommodation

African influences are particularly evident in the harmonious stone and wood interiors and the thatch and shingle roofs. You’re sure to appreciate the generous 52 square metres of room space, the rich furnishings and your own sea facing terrace or balcony. But for total indulgence why not upgrade to the serenity and perfection of the two-bedroom Villa where you’ll have your own private pool and 24-hour butler service.
