The legendary Marbella Club set on the golden Mediterranean shores of southern Spain is a luxury hotel with an alluring ambience of true elegance and traditional luxury, enhanced with a wealth of world-class facilities and an enviable beachfront location between Marbella and Puerto Banus. Hidden amongst beautiful botanical gardens, the Club’s privacy appeals to guests looking to really unwind in absolute tranquillity. The hotel feels chic and classic in design; its authentic local architecture is complemented by fresh and contemporary interiors, and the stylish rooms offer floor to ceiling windows opening out to the hotel’s prize sea views, making it a real gem on the Mediterranean coast. The spacious suites look out to flower-filled gardens and the Andalusian style villas offer the utmost privacy, some even including private heated pools and outdoor dining areas – perfect for family holidays.
With its fabulous beach setting and extensive gardens dotted with towering palm trees and swimming pools, Marbella Club is the ultimate getaway for a relaxing break in Europe, and even offers guests relaxing wellness experiences such as holistic, therapeutic and thalassotherapy treatments. However, with an extensive list of activities on offer, such as watersports and tennis, as well as an incredible 18 hole golf course just 20 minutes away looking out to the mountains and Mediterranean, and a fabulous Equestrian Centre offering lessons for all levels and ages, you can be incredibly active here, making the most of the stunning natural beauty of the area. For families, Marbella Club is a great place to keep little ones entertained with its fun Kids Club offering classes in pottery, art, music, dancing and cooking, all in a playful and engaging environment. The Club has everything you could wish for, but we would always encourage exploring further afield, particularly with so much on your door step. You can easily stroll along the beach to the chic boutiques and tapas restaurants of Marbella, or a few minutes by taxi along the palm-tree lined promenade takes you to Puerto Banus, where fabulous and buzzing cocktail bars look over the stupendous superyachts moored in the famous harbour. Typical Andalusian towns are wonderful to explore on day trips and we would recommend visiting Granada, Ronda, and the white villages of Vejer de la Frontera, which are beautiful and steeped in culture.
Mediterranean cuisine is world-renowned and Marbella Club is a foodie haven, treating guests to refined world class menus from head chef Juan Galvez. The Grill is one of the most exclusive restaurants in Marbella for an evening of glamour and romance, where fine dining by candlelight or under the stars by the jasmine and bougainvillea trees is both atmospheric and incredibly delicious – the chefs create spectacular dishes from local seasonal ingredients. During the day, the Beach Club has a cool and relaxed atmosphere; sun loungers surround a heated seawater pool, just steps from the soft sand, and guests are served directly from the loungers. The legendary buffet here is a picture of colour, from exquisite salads to fresh fish and traditional paellas or tapas platters to completely indulge in. In the evenings, head to the lively terrace of the Summer Bar, adorned with hanging flowers and twinkling lights, this is a lovely setting for an aperitif with fabulous views. Or, for something a little more extravagant, the Club’s famous Art Deco Champagne Room oozes style, and has hosted celebrities for decades. With a roaring fire in winter and often becoming the heart of the party during live jazz evenings, this ultra-glamorous hot spot is the perfect place for some serious holiday entertainment.
