Huvafen Fushi sits in its own private lagoon and is considered one of the Maldives’ most stylish island resorts. Experience a luxury playground in an awe-inspiring setting for an unforgettable holiday or honeymoon.

Who could resist LIME, the resort spa, complete with unique underwater treatment rooms, steam room, sauna and invigorating ice room; be soothed and pampered whilst exotic fish swim up to the giant windows. Or get even closer to the marine life with FLOAT, the watersports and activities centre, offering PADI diving, snorkelling, glass-bottomed kayaks, big game fishing and more. There is also an over-water gym with floor-to-ceiling windows for serene ocean views, a yoga pavilion and a relaxing outdoor saltwater flotation pool. This resort is also all about personalised experiences and can offer inspiration for any occasion.

You’ll find the accommodation here extremely spacious and luxuriously furnished. All villas include a king size bed, plasma TV, air-conditioning, surround sound system, espresso machine and 24-hour Thakuru (butler) service for restaurant reservations, private excursions, information about the resort and island, and anything else you might need. Beach Bungalows are an excellent option, beautifully designed with a partially open bathroom and their own garden oasis with freshwater plunge pool. Alternatively, upgrade to one of the Deluxe Beach Bungalows, each with two private pools, one on the front deck overlooking the ocean and one in your private courtyard. If you prefer an over-water option, Lagoon Bungalows are split-level, lead directly into the tropical waters below and provide spectacular panoramic views. Beach and Ocean Pavilions are exceptionally large with a master and second bedroom, fibre-optic lit infinity pool, enhanced living area including a spacious outdoor terrace or deck and unparalleled views.

The four dining venues are all excellent and we recommend the romantic seafood restaurant Salt, where you can dine over-water under a diamond-scattered sky. Celsius offers a luxurious but laid-back atmosphere for casual or intimate dining with your feet in the sand and live show kitchens that deliver an exciting selection of fresh dishes from around the world. Raw serves innovative Asian-style tapas and is complemented by Raw Bar, where you can kick back on the overwater terrace and watch a breathtaking Maldivian sunset. Fogliani’s Italian offers pizza and pasta for lunch and themed nights three times a week for dinner.

Highlights

  • Discover the underwater world from the SpaQuarium - the world's first underwater spa
  • Be sure to try out one of the destination dining options - there are 10 available!
  • An overwater gym set out on it's own Jetty, offers the most incredible views and a perfect place to work out
  • Enjoy the freedom and explore the beautiful seascape by hiring a private Dhoni with your very own captain and crew
