The hotel will open its doors in 2019 welcoming guests in need of a real city break, promising the brand’s high level of luxury, unequivocal elegance and impeccable service, and we couldn’t be more thrilled that Six Senses is finally heading to the big apple. The project is already in full swing in the popular Chelsea district, and plans are also in place for the hotel to house a private member’s club within it. We shall certainly be watching this space… but for now, the fabulous Six Senses Zighy Bay is a must visit for anyone intrigued by Oman, one of the most beautiful and fascinating places to explore in Arabia, or Six Senses Laamu is a tranquil haven on a stunning paradise island in the Maldives, perfect for a relaxing beach escape.

One of the most prestigious golf tournaments in the world, The European Tour, has announced its 2017 schedule and we couldn’t be more pleased that one of our favourite hotels in Italy will host the Rocco Forte Open – Verdura, from 18-21 May. Verdura Golf & Spa Resort lies on the breathtaking Sicilian coast and its two championship 18-hole golf courses offer magnificent views across the Mediterranean Sea – we couldn’t think of a more beautiful setting for a round of golf under the Italian sun. A stay here wouldn’t be complete without exploring the vast grounds by bike or foot, relaxing on the private beach and indulging in the spectacular spa.
Louvre Abu Dhabi To Open in 2017
We are delighted that the long-awaited Louvre Abu Dhabi is soon to be a reality, finally opening its doors in 2017 – it is certainly set to impressive. As to be expected from a UAE project, the museum will be a massive work of art in itself, a monumental 6,000sqm space to showcase a permanent collection of artworks from across the globe. With plans also in the pipeline for the Guggenheim Museum to open in Abu Dhabi and house an extensive range of modern works of art, a trip here offers a diverse experience of culture, desert and beach.
