Last summer I decided to give my sister some time out and took my twin nieces off to the fantastic Verdura Resort in Sicily. There was so much to do and of course the girls wanted to do it all.  We didn’t quite make it as far as the golf course but Iris joined in at the football pitches and Eve on the tennis courts.  The cooking course at the kids club was also a huge hit and, while they were making pasta, I sneaked off to indulge myself at the huge Thalassotherapy spa – utter bliss!  All of the rooms and suites at the resort have wonderful views out to sea and are very spacious, so for three of us a Deluxe Room was ideal.
