What To Expect
For a true VIP experience here at The Private Travel Company we suggest staying at The Mark Hotel, located on the Upper East Side you can fully immerse yourself in a luxurious escape, and with a gorgeous selection of family amenities you might never want to leave. We particularly love The Mark Restaurant by Jean-Georges in NYC which features a masterful design by Jacques Grange and an innovative restaurant menu specially crafted by NYC’s pre-eminent chef, the award-winning Jean-Georges Vongerichten.
With a variety of VIP experiences to choose from we have handpicked a selection which we think represent the flair of this unique city.
For a delicious family day out what better way to acquaint yourself with the city than a food truck tour with a food writer. Accompanied by a food writer, visit a half dozen of the most acclaimed and unique food trucks in Manhattan – from perfect Pad Thai to mouth watering burritos. This is a classic New York experience not found anywhere else.
The next day why not visit the studios of Saturday Night Live in Rockefeller Center to meet with some of the writers and producers, see how the show is rehearsed for one week and even meet some members of the cast!
For those budding fashionistas make their dreams come true with a day in with a famous fashion designer in their studio, discuss their creations, and even shop with them in their store (with a discount of course!)
For the more active – choose a private rink or Rockefeller Center for a skating lesson with an Olympic medalist. Learn basic techniques or even try for that triple lutz. Or just watch them show off their skills to the crowd!
Broadway is something you cannot miss on a trip to New York – select a musical or play you would like to see and we can arrange a coffee chat with one of its stars along with front row seats and a backstage visit to meet the cast after the show. Don’t forget to bring flowers!
The New York art scene is simply superb, and something that really shouldn’t be missed! Go inside galleries like Gagosian, Friedman Benda, Leila Heller, Pace, Bryce Wolkowitz when they are closed to the public or in preparation for new shows accompanied by art experts like Natasha Schlesinger or gallerist Marianne Boesky. It is a fabulous day out for all the family.
In between all of these fabulous VIP experiences we suggest exploring this totally unique city, with so many districts to explore from Meatpacking and Chelsea, to Chinatown and Alphabet city, each area has it’s own personality and we can’t wait for you to experience it too.
